Privacy Policy
Convenience translation. The legally binding version is the German privacy policy.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Daniel Stevens (on behalf of the band Eskalajam)
Münsterstraße 258, 52076 Aachen, Germany
Email: info@eskalajam.de, phone: 0160 963 13 665
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and to handle enquiries. This website uses no cookies, stores no information on your device (not even in the browser's local storage) and uses no analytics or tracking services. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; there is no connection to third-party font services.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. When the website is accessed, the server automatically processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, file requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL) in what are known as server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. The log files are automatically deleted in accordance with the host's retention periods. No merging with other data takes place.
4. Contact form and email contact
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, any details about the event, content of the message) exclusively to handle your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted; the enquiry email is sent via the mail server of our host IONOS (server location Germany). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract, e.g. booking) as well as Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering general enquiries). Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to handle the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. Data is not passed on to third parties.
5. Embedded videos from YouTube (two-click solution)
YouTube videos are initially disabled on this website and are only loaded when you actively click on them. Until you click, no data is transferred to YouTube. Only with your click does your browser establish a connection to YouTube's servers; in doing so, your IP address and device information, among other things, are transmitted, and the provider can set its own cookies.
YouTube is embedded in extended data protection mode ("youtube-nocookie.com"). Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A transfer of data to third countries (in particular the USA) cannot be ruled out. The legal basis for the embedding is your consent by clicking, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by reloading the page. Further information can be found in the provider's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content (e.g. enquiries via the contact form), this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in the browser bar and by the fact that the address begins with "https://".
7. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). To exercise your rights, an informal email to info@eskalajam.de is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), e.g. with the competent State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW, www.ldi.nrw.de).
8. Currency of this privacy policy
As of: October 2026. We will update this policy as soon as the website or the legal requirements change.
